Philadelphia Businesses Prepare for New Soda Tax Before it Goes Into Law

Business across Philadelphia are preparing for the new city soda tax and trying to learn more about it before the tax goes into effect on January 1st. And now, the American Beverage Association and some local businesses are suing to block the tax. The tax passed over the summer and it aims to raise money for programs like pre-K school for young Philadelphians. The city is trying to figure out the regulations about how to implement the tax.
