Friday Night Jazz Puts On the Performance That Never Was

 

 

 

The Woodmere Art Museum has been putting on its seasonal Friday Night Jazz shows for the past seven years, bringing historically charged performances from the Philadelphia based Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble, who have been performing locally and releasing albums since 1979. Warren Oree, upright bassist, leader, and founder of the group, was available to weigh in on their performance on October 21, and the underlying tensions that fueled the music they performed.
