The city of Philadelphia has over a dozen claims to fame. As one of the busiest and largest cities in the U.S., and known for it’s cultural diversity and history, there are infinite things that Philly has to offer. As far as the food department is concerned, there is only one food in the entire world that has the word “Philly” in its name: the Philly cheesesteak. The cheesesteak is sold nearly everywhere in Philadelphia, and serving them at a Starr Restaurant is no exception. Unlike Pat’s Steaks, Geno’s, Jim’s, Tony Luke’s, Ishkabibble’s, and so on… the cheesesteak sold at Barclay Prime is ten times the price of their sandwiches. That’s right, a $100 cheesesteak (which costs $120 when including a half bottle of champagne that comes with the sandwich), served from the restaurant ranked #5 on The Daily Meal’s list of “America’s 50 Best Steakhouses of 2015.” But how can a cheesesteak cost someone $120? You can read more about the famous Barclay Prime Cheesesteak here.
